Fear disappears through surrendering the outcome to god

No, this is not a story about how I found my (religious) faith through a key moment. I am neither religious, nor do I believe in an old gentleman in the sky with a white ruffled beard.

I believe in the divine in every human being. The divine is much more a synonym for the potential that lies dormant in every human being.

However, I think the divine is hidden under many layers that need to be removed. Ultimately, I believe that this process is different for each person.

If only for the reason that everyone has grown up differently and has had different experiences. Everyone has learned something different and gained knowledge for themselves on how it works best.

One thing, however, unites the entire human race: the ability to believe. Both, in themselves and in their own abilities.

This fact makes all humans invincible. Provided that this belief is strong enough. Unfortunately, in many cases, it is not.

Why do so many do something they don’t want to do in the first place?

Within Mindset Coaching sessions, I have come into contact with many people. Mostly with other mentees. Some very successful, others still in the very beginning.

What is evident across all groups is that a large percentage don’t even know why they run a social media agency or offer coaching as a service.

So I ask myself the question: then what’s it all for?

Sure, at a certain point it puts them in the position of being able to choose if they want to do something else instead. Everyone has to decide for themselves if they want to pay that price. Or ultimately choose a different solution for the same result, which may just not be known yet.

Often I think we are so obsessed with producing a certain result, that we forget about the experiences which are necessary to achieve it.

And then, when we do achieve that goal, we still feel empty because the experiences are not the ones we would have expected.

Usually, the pain associated with this is then so great that this is the necessary driving force to take a different path — the one that is right for us.

Life imposes tests on us — a dangerous half-truth

Now you might think that life must be difficult in certain situations. If you overcome this difficulty, then you have not only developed, but it will also be easier for you.

If you have internalized this belief, then it is possible that your subconscious proactively attracts exactly these situations, and you always see everything and everyone as a test.

Ergo, you will put yourself under pressure, and in the worst case even sabotage yourself. You can’t even appreciate these experiences you’re having anymore.

That’s why faith is so important. There will definitely be moments that will be difficult. Because things don’t work out or external circumstances make it difficult for you.

However, with your faith, you will find the strength within yourself to keep going. Because you will see how the individual pieces of the puzzle come together to form a whole.
